Title: Exhausts....
Post by: Baz006 on 20 October 2007, 12:40:07
The backbox on my '98 Elite has just about had it. The rest of the system is fine so this is all I'll need to replace. Trouble is I would prefer to fit something a bit nicer than a standard one but cannot seem to find anywhere that stocks perfomance backboxes for Omegas? Can anyone help? Cheers.... :)

Check that the mid sections haven't fallen to bits. They may look fine, but take them off and shake them!

Also,  you may struggle to seperate the backbox from the mid sections...

I know this is very much personal preference but you can do a lot worse and spend a lot more than a genuine Vx box.  (about 250+vat I recall for the 2 middle sections and rear box)

Thanx ians. See what you're saying. Its just that I dont like the look of the standard box thats all. Suppose I could get one of those cheesy chrome sleeves that fit over the tailpipe from Wilco's for a fiver.... ;D
