Title: handbrake lever.
Post by: ffcgary1 on 26 October 2007, 15:59:54
Does any one know if the leather handle of the hand brake lever comes off seperatly from the metal, as i met with dazzler yesterday, and he tried to remove the said item but without much luck from an elite that i am breaking. It looks as though the whole assy has to be removed from the car, anyone done this before. :question

Hi markie, yep it was a real scabby elite as well, only bought it for the cams, but it has sourced some useful spares. :y

It had a lovely rear blind in it also  ::) ::) ::)
Which is now in mine but it did take me and gary alittle time to remove it as the rear window glue had stuck it fast.

The smae problem I had. I'd dismantled the back of the car thinking that I'd missed some thing before I gave it a bit of welly. It came out in the end. ;D ;D
