Title: 2.5 silencer on a 3.0
Post by: Paulus on 25 October 2007, 17:56:27
I have recently bought a 2nd hand exhaust for my 3.0 (it was a huge bargain), but it only has one output pipe on the rear silencer - ie off a 2.5. Will I notice a difference in power output?

Paul.

If the exhaust is in good condition, I doubt you'll see a huge difference.

No it just looks crap. More of a marketing thing than anything else.

You could always buy one of those Y-piece tailpipe trims from Halfords to make it look like it has two pipes  ;D
