Title: Fault finding things in halfords

Do they work then? im sick of my missfire and thought if i buy one of them (if they have a vauxhall one) it will tell me the problem :( :question

what fault finding thingy is this ? Haynes Manual ?

You will have better luck asking questions on here for fault finding

If it's the Gunsons one it's just a switch and two lengths of wire..... A paperclip will work just as well (depending on your engine!)

its a 2.5 v6 changed the ign leads put a new crank sensor on and its still playing up :(

If you have changed the rpm senor and the ht leads then the missfire is most likley to be the dis pack behind the passenger side head. :(

See what fault codes say first ;)

I agree though, no fault codes and a misfire normally point HT. Worth checking for oil in plug wells first ;)
