does a 2001 2.2 CDX have?? Ar25, AR35 or something completely different?

I believe it has the AR25, however, maybe someone else with more exp. can give you a more definate answer. :question

To be 100% sure, the boxes are marked as 25 and 35 so you could always check. There is a plate riveted onto the passenger side of the box. ;)

2.2 is an AR25.

Its not for me or I would...I'm selling an AR25 on ebay and someone with a facelift 2.2 CDX wants to know if it will fit his car...I guess it depends on if they changed the box with the facelift versions :)

All Omegas have the AR25 except the 3.0/3.2

Actually, I should clarify - I was talking UK spec. Some late Opels have the 5 speed box...

The torque converter may well be different - depending on the driveplate and of course the engine characteristics. Maybe the bell housing would also be different? Not sure. :-/ He could always swap these parts over from the original box.

I think only the 2.5TD has different TC (and bellhousing)
