Title: Limb mode omega 2Ltr
Post by: wildwady on 03 November 2007, 14:48:04
Just had a head gasket change on my 2001 51 plate omega 2ltr Auto petrol LPG converted engine when picking up the car and drove off from the garage I noticed that the auto transmission light was on and while taking off it seemed to drive off very slowly gathering speed on the way.I put it on first gear and it took off normally,it seems to do it when it is on drive mode,I tried the auto transmission sport switch on the gear knob but it is not working as well. Has it got to do anything with the head gasket change ? disconnecting the battery whilst in the garage because this fault was not there before I took the car in for the head gasket replacement Any help or advise will be very gratefull
  thanks

If i am reading this right do you mean they never plugged the Throttle position sensor back in ?

If it is this is a black plug on the side of the throttle body looking towards the car its on the drivers side
