Title: exhaust manifold

hi there

    where is the best place to get an exhaust manifold for a 2.2 omega. just checked mine and found a nice big crack :'(

I would say vx dealer......but wheres the crack? is it possible to get it welded??

I assume you have a 'tick' noise when cold then?

not a tick more like a tank  :-[   the crck is about 1 1/2 long inbetween the middle 2 cylinders

just found one on the vauxcentres website £85 not to bad. i've got one snaped stud,  should i replace them all before it goes back together?

I recall reading before that these bolts are prone to shearing off. To limit the chances of this you can spray with wd40 on them everyday for 7 days prior to undoing. Otherwise you'll have to rethread them. Other more experienced hands will i'm sure reply.

I find plus gas is a much better penetrating lubricant than WD40 :y

 ;) That would be becaused Plus Gas is a penetrating oil whereas WD40 is only a water dispersant!  ;)  ;)  :y

Have you seen a new wd40 can with the new pictures on it
it is funny.
apparently its also good for spraying spades with
apparently stops the mud sticking lol

Removes stubborn temporary tattoos lol

Removes adhesive price tags from shoe bottoms

=nice if you want to claim on the wifes life insurance .

Removes labels from medicine bottles

the site lists about 300 uses.
im not sure many people would want to remove labels from medicine bottles though  :-?
