Title: 2.5V6 poor starting
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 09 November 2007, 19:40:54
Last few days, my car's taken a lot (more than usual) of turning over to start, and tonight when it fired up, it coughed a little.

And no... I don't have a code 19!

Could try the cranking with foot to floor before trying. Maybe it's flooding?

Mine struggles if I've started it from cold just to shuffle it on the driveway. I suspect the mixture is so rich at startup it leaves the plugs fouled if you don't give it a run.

When mine went like that it was a DIS pack change .. :(

on removing the old one you could see burned track lines all over it :(

not cheap :(
