Title: Wheel upgrade

Can any body advise if 17 inch facelift wheels will fit miniface lift 1998 with standard 16 inch ?is there any issues will size of wheeel in arch or catching bodywork.

Yes, provided tyre profile matches.

All pre, mini & facelift chassis/shells were basically the same so any wheel/tyre combination as originally supplied will fit.....

so 245/40/17 on rear and 225/40/17 on front would work with miniface lift then ?

Standard on MV6 etc is 235/45/17.  I know that 18's will fit as well, depending on offset.  Mikedundee, Bob Dent and others have 18's on and Bob in particular I know has wider than that on the rear of his estate.

Yep Bob has 235`s on front and 265`s on rear however there 17"s - i also thought he had 18`s but he insists not on Monday over 12 beers or so...
 
But 18`s fit no problem anyway...

I have 19s om my miggy, with tyre size 235/35/R19 all corners:y

they fill the arches really well.
