Hi,
I have an Omega 2.2 -2001, and I have problem with my engine. When I start the engine cold the engine works very good.
I can drive many mils without problem. If I turn off the engine when itīs warm and tray to turn it on again,
the engine starts up wrong. On the instrument panel the "Check Engine Light" is on. The car runs on the emergency program, max 4500 rpm.
I have read the faultcodes and itīs saying that the crankshaft is defect. I have change the crankskaft, GM original.
But I have still the same problem:
Cold no problem.
Hot problem.
The faultcodes was readed when the engine was warm. Faultcode was 335 if I remember correct.
I have measure the voltage. Ignition on, against wiring harness connector crankshaft.
Cold motor = 2.46 Volt.
Warm motor = 0.02 Volt.
Why only 0,02 Volt with warm motor?
Please help me with my problem, all proposals are welcome.

Do you know what the fault code stored by the ecu is?
It actualy sounds more like cam shaft sensor symptoms.

Hi
Opel workshop say if i dot remember wrong, trouble code 335.
On the camshaft there is 4.8 Volt, hot as cold

0335 is crank sensor. 0340 is cam sensor.
