The rear windows are not working I have moved the swtich on the drivers doot from red to green but still they are not working.
BUT
I can control them from my door.
Any ideas please?

Is the amber light on, on the switches on the rear door? if not either the disable switch is u/s or a fuse... but, I think the fuse does all windows!!!!!

Front woindows Fuse 1
Rear windows Fuse 7

thanks for that
The drivers door can still control the windows at the back though so could it still be a fuse?

Ah? I should have read the original question! :-[
Sounds more like it could the rear switches at fault ..... although you'be be unlucky for both to have failed at the same time, or probably more likely to be the inhibit switch that's failed.
AIMHO ;)

The Amber LED on the REAR window switches on the REAR door. Are they on.

Yeah I think the switch has failed on the drivers door more likely.

Not sure if there are LED's on the Meega's after 99/00..... I assumed your car was earlier initially.... perhaps someone with a newer car can help.................... I'd check the fuses first however.... DC

The windows do work but only from the front so the fuses are OK.

I had exactly same problem, and reason was faulty "red/green switch".
I fixed it myself, with a piece of electrical tape inside the switch...

I have similar problem, but the window is working. It opens fine, but when I try to close it it stops certain level and is going back. Every time I press the switch it does the same. I have to close the window by pressing it many times so the window is going up 1-2cm a time. It only happens on right window and I have tried both switches (driver and back door). Window is going smoothly and there's nothing blocking it. It looks like the problem is in window closing mechanism. I tried to pull the window when closing but it's the same (it stops). When the window pass that point and I will press the button continuously the window will stop again bit higher. I have to use big force to stop the window from closing (child protection) so it's not this. I think it some sensor, but don't know which one. Can you help me?

There's some pictures of the switch cluster, push those metal clips carefully with a screwdriver.
