Title: middle control on dash not working

i have a serious problem my car is working fine with the dashboars meters the screen, windows and sunroof but the controls on the middle of the daashboard have no power like the ac,indicator tc,etc and the player,any ideas, does that portion run with seperate power not linked with the interior so i could replace the fuse or maybe a wire is loose, i hope it's nothing too big

lonely thread alert...

if I understand, you mean that the switches for ac, heated rear screen, recirculation, heated seats if you have them etc are not illuminated.   Are they working at all - ie is the heated rear screen coming on when you press the button?  The bulbs inside the switches can fail, but strange if they have all gone - but they should still work.

thanx for the link but the whole panel is dead no lights no function
something like that once happened to my lancer but there was a rat living inside the dashboard

i have found the problem
looks like someone tried to pry open the panel looking for the ecu and cut off all the wiring on the way to the blower.
does anybody have the wiring diagram with color codes i already rewired the player i have a ccr800 but i'm getting no display, and i have 3 brown white wires left

if its prefacelift, wiring diag in haynes...
