leaking rocker gasket is it better fitting newcovers or will gasket alone cure oil leak would prefer to spend balance on tidying bodywork
-
use genuine gaskets and clean the breathers out and that will do the job.
Aftermarket ones go hard after a while and go brittle, not cleaning the breather means the engine is lookng for somewhere to vent....normally the rocker covers

there was a time when you could only buy the gaskets as part of the cover, they were expensive.
I have heard some garages tell you that the covers warp as they are plastic!!! i am yet to see one that has warped through normal use, most of the time it is because they have used crap gaskets
