Key in the drivers door and force it clockwise.....it will be worrying to do but it will go.

Or get in through the boot.

Yep, you can get in through the boot, you have to give the ski hatch between the seats a kick (if its a saloon) to open it.

The key in the drivers door lock is the best method....

Fully charge the battery, see what happens. A flat battery on a modern(ish) car can cause all manner of faults.

Hi Guys,

I have the same prob.  Im locked out of my other 2000 model and can't get in.  I don't think the boot thing will work as i have a post 2000 model.  For some reason the drivers door lock thing fails too, after a bit of force clockwise it goes click and the nob jerks updated a few mm and then drops back down... :o(  I've applied quite a lot of pressure c/wise and it does not budge.

Am i doing somthing wrong or do i need to apply more force?  any more and my hand will explode!  :o

Is there any power connections i can apply the charger to?  I don't have the plastic tray attaced under the car so i can get to a few things... ?

you can stick a live on the starter motor live wire.
or you can jiggle the key left to right as it also works.
ive not tried sticking a live to the starter cable before so be careful.
works on some cars..

For some reason i suddenly opened!  I forced it c/wise as advised and the nob didn't pop up so i gave it a go and it opened!

 :)
Thanks
