Title: Exterior Temperature
Post by: EddieX on 23 July 2006, 21:02:53
The display reads- F   deg. C or something like that. The rest of the display works OK. so I guess it's the sender at fault. Question is, where is the sender?
Thanks,

Eddie.

I was reading the old posts and came upon this thread about the outside temperature sensor...

For the two years I've had my car the display has always been reading "F" so I went and had a look at where the sensor was suppose to be...guess what? nothing, just two thin wires hanging there, so I popped the sensor from the bottom of the bumper on my M reg Omega which I use for spares...and joined the two sets of wires together..and guess what... yes that's right....9.5 C  Great or what :y :y

Well worth spending half hour looking at old threads..
