to begin with i thought it was because i was running on fumes but filled the tank and i still get a bleeping noise similar to when the screen wash is low or it is below 3.0 degrees however screen wash filled and temp 8.0 degrees, what could be causing the bleeping as the homer simpson fix of turning up the sterio is wearing thin now
-
i don't get a bleep when i have low screen wash, just get a 'Check' on the MID computer.. Could it be the TM Traffic Master??
-
is the bleep coming from under scuttle, drivers side?

Thats the only beep i know off from an Omega......unless someones bunged a Sony stereo in there ::) ;D
-
dont think its traffic master as different tone and quieter
its coming from the dash area, a descret bing in sets of 3 or 4.
-
When does it beep? .......when you take the keys out?

I had a troublesome faint bleep on my 2.5 cd. Turned out to be the seperate alarm battery getting .ready for replacement. It is located on the drivers side under the scuttle (directly below the rubber drain hole)

actually after a bit off investigation i found that its my tom tom telling me off for going to fast. so not that stupid of an idea ;D
but strangly tom tom has the same bleep as the computer on the car.

Computer or MID shouldn't beep though? As mentioned the only 'beeps' are from a failing alarm 'power sounder' or perhaps leaving your lights on which is more of a buzz. :-?
.....and how outrageous, somebody speeding in an omega!!! ;D I trust you work for thames valley police though officer ;)

Why not record the sound on your phone and add a link via photobucket - someone may then say "Ahhh, I know what it is"
Mine only makes a beep when the lights are left etc and sounds very high pitched, with alternating frequency, akin to a police siren (but much quieter of course). Is the sound different when you leave the lights on and open the driver's door?
