Dell. 3 times they promised a hardware swapout on Monday. So I stayed at home. Never turned up >:(
O2. Stupid bloody woman, simply because I couldn't quote my last statement (despite answering about 5 other questions right, she wouldn't talk to me, or get a supervisor call me, or let me cancel. I firmly suggested where she could stick my phone >:(
As my collegue (who has witnessed my tantrums with various companies this week) said, you have to expect poor service, and if they do what you want, treat it as a bonus.
-
It does seem to be the norm these days, having to deal with all these incompetent arses on the end of the phone, only after having to endure the flippin automated part first >:(
-
But according to the automated system, my call was very important to them >:(
-
Been a good week for me so far, Monday quiet, Tuesday quiet & today had to photograph Kelly Burgess page 3 girl, life can be hard sometimes :y

>:(Very important to keep you on hold, play you cheesy music then be no help whatsoever when you do manage to talk to some numpty. TANTRUM TIME!!!! ::)

Its because we are being taken over by big companies. If it was a one man band it would be much better service.
In their minds , they dont care if they piss off 100 people , as they would have already got another 1000 on board probably. Very sad but true!

In fairness to both companies, a little perserverence, and I ended up dealing with people who seemed to care, and both resolved my issues (one way or another).

Its just the odd ones. You should take a leaf out of my book and never get angry ! :o ;D ::)

LOL ;D
As a rule, I never do in such situations - losing temper is admission that you lose the debate in my book.
In the case of Dell, I didn't lose my rag, but the idiot had nowhere to go, so he just had to accept a 35 minute dressing down from me. Poor sod. I think he was nearly in tears ::)
In the case of O2, tossers, she stonewalled, wouldn't deal with my query, would transfer, wouldn't let me cancel, wouldn't let me talk to supervisor. I swore at her, and immediately lost the argument. Not my finest hour :-[. However, the number of heads that appeared about the partitions (large open plan office) like little chads, showed that I still had the ability to shock the people in the office ::)

Yeah i agree , some people have worse empers than others.
Ive always had a fiery temper , better now than i used to be so hopefully in a few years should be as relaxed as a valium addict. Hey , the regulars might even start to speak to me again by then, lol
Matt ;D ;D

Agreed, you become wiser, and can (usually ::)) argue in a less confrontational way.

Oh. My heart goes out to..... Lucky B.................. :(

Right, another name to add to the list. Epson. Pillocks. No effing x64 driver for my printer, which means the server can no longer talk to it, which means I can't share it out >:(
And its a easy peasy job to recompile for x64, and a tweak to INF file, but the lazy buggers won't. Their advice? Bin it. I'll shove it up their friggin chuff in a minute >:(
-
Temper Temper! ;D ::)
-
And another group of people to add. One of our offshored helpdesks, just because their working day corresponds to our evening, think its perfectly OK to phone me at all hours about the most pathetic stuff that could wait until the morning >:(
Just logged on to work, and undiverted my desk phone :y
