That when you put a car for sale something happens to it. I was travelling down a very narrow country lane when I saw a silver Mitsubishi coming towards me, so I pulled over into a small cut in the bank. The Mitsubishi came flying past and BANG took my door mirror off. I looked in my rear view mirror to see the mitsubishi disappearing down the road. I did a six point turn and took off after the car and after about 3 miles caught up with it. It was parked and an old dear was getting out so I asked why she didnt stop and she said her friend was late for a doctors appointment, handed me her insurance documents and told me to post them her back :o
So what do you do?
Ive just been and ordered a new mirror for £36 plus the dreaded

Presumably £36 is parts price, add a bit on for fitting it then phone her up with the bill amount and suggest that she pays for it herself if its going to effect her ncb. Wait for the cheque to clear the send her the insurance documents back job done :y
