ok looking at buying one of off EBay, but not sure which one i need?

You'll have to check the connector. The 90458251 one is for early models where the female connector is an integral part of the duct containing a zillion wires including the injector connectors. I believe newer cars have a separate connector for the crank sensor that is easier to disconnect. Also think that the 90458251one has 3 pins wheras the other one has 4.

No need to. You fix it yourself. My car is of the old type and have the connector here:

Just follow the wire along the cambelt cover and see where it ends up. There is also a difference between the two sensors in the business end as you can see from the ebay pics. It should be possible to find out from chassis or engine# which sensor you need.

have done a begging call to Vauxhalls and have given them my chassis number and they have told me that the sensor i need is a 9174621 which would be EBay item
