Title: Fluid.

Have just removed throttle body from inlet manifold.
Looked down the manifold and saw fluid at the bottom.I'm assuming this is
a oily deposit brought through from the cam cover,before the breather valve clogs up.
Does anyone know if there is a drain plug at the bottom of the manifold?
Or will i have to suck fluid out,somehow

Also there is a oily type deposit on the inside wall?of the manifold,is there any way this can be cleaned off without removal
of manifold.

Why is the manifold so deep?

The inlet manifold is in sections, depth wise. You will have to remove and clean with carb cleaner and the breather system by the sounds of it and a good oil change. IMHO.

Righto thanks.

Breathers are cleaned,shall invest in a flame trap to prevent further probs.
Oil/filter change next when throttle back on.
