ive a small fortune spend on my 2000 omega trying to get the Hid's working and still no joy. (1 headlight level adjuster and 2 new level sensors so far) >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
my donor car has the projector type fitted and i was wondering is it a big job to convert to the projectors, advice needed cos the headlights are pointing around 15 feet in front of the car and i cant see a thing at night:exclamation :exclamation

Time for a hybred
The projectors will take HID bulbs, not sure what will happen with the ballasts
Main problem is the level controls
You will need all of the wiring including the dash switch.

thanks for the reply, i never realised the HID system was so complex (and expensive) until something went wrong, my vectra has them fitted and to be honest the headlights in wifes zafira are every bit as good if not slightly better.
im not afraid of re-wiring, just afraid of the dark ;D ;D ;D

I need to sort out my HID lights as well. They seem bright enough but only show a few feet in front. While I've not tried it yet there are two controls for each side to alter the left/right up/down of the beam. The following links describes one method for altering while avoiding blinding other drivers. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1196202467/0#10
If you get time to try this before I do let me know how you get on.

wont fit directly into projectors bud !! you could hard wire the hids and do awat with the computer control !! very easy to fit hids in a car what doesnt have them but might be harder the other way round !! ;)
