Title: Clearing fault codes

is there any way of clearing the fault codes other than tech2?

Im not sure will it work in Omegas, but on other engines such like X20XEV and C25XE you can try to disconnect battery for about 15-20 mins, or try to switch ignition on - off for at least 20 times.

Yes, either cheapo eBay TechII (about £30) or Opelscanner (about £250). On some ecu's if you have 30 or so clear starts / runs the code will clear from the current codes.

Yeah im going grab my self a tech 2 from ebay next week!

Wanted to clear the codes now to see if it pops up again. Ill try that thank you  ;D

The cheapo TechII is VERY basic, it will clear most codes but a lot of the software interface is Hungarian.
If all you want to do is clear codes it should do that for you.
