just bout this car estate 2.5 v6 cdx p reg and gess what .......i cant find the petrol cap relese button lol

can anyone tell me where it is lol?

Doesn't the cap just open with your finger!?! It does on the facelifts  :y

thort it wud but had to prise it open with a screwdriver last nite lol
mite be sticky as it was parked up for 4 months lol

It does lock with the central locking so as you suggest, perhaps the mechanism has siezed somewhat. Give it a good squirt of WD and make sure you haven't damaged the paint around the cap, it will rust to buggery  otherwise.

just been out to look again and think your rite theres a little white plastic pin that seems to be sticking so its not relecing will give it some wd 2moz

Thats right. Give it a real good squirt then perhaps operate the central locking a few times to try and free it up. Fingers crossed. At least your omega is cheaper to run given that you don't have to fill it up with petrol now  :y

as mentioned the petrol filler cap unlocks with the central locking, when you finally get it open, grease up the locking pin  :y

Get into the boot and open the small cubby hole on the right.....reach in and pull the locking pin for the fuel filler back by hand......

Best to lubricate it with a small amount of light oil to prevent it sticking in the future
