is there any difference on the front shockers on 98 mv6 and 99 elite ?? mine are shot and rattling and doing my head in and im in the middle of breaking a elite !! :question :question

It would appear so - I know the dealer had a hell of a job trying to find the right ones for my MV6....

Don't know for def, but likely to be shorter and stiffer

they are boge fitted as standard yes ? so was thinking about some billies !! what do you think ? and what did you pay for vx ones ?? ;)

It was a while ago, and I paid retail prices. Was about £300 for both wishbones and both front shocks, and other associated bits.

As said, that was retail price, and the wishbones accounted for at least half of that. Much cheaper on TC if they are a TC item...

according to the TC website the retail price is £71 each, trade club price £44.60 each. The TC website differentiates between the 2.0/2.2 and larger engines as well as 'lowered sports suspension' (i.e. 4 types)
Same prices for all

I have a pair of good mv6 front shocks complete with springs and top mounts etc, I'm thinking about selling if your interested.

On pre-facelift MV6's its important not to use oridinary shocks as its the shocks that do the 30mm lowering.......fit ordinary ones and you will be driving around with your nose in the air!

I paid £60 from a breakers as I was going to fit them to my 2.0l but just don't get the time.
I work in Hull so can probably meet up somwhere to save delivery costs etc so make me an offer.
