I got "Oil Lack" come up on the trip computer so I checked the oil level to make sure I wasn't driving around on Oil Vapour but found the oil level was spot on.
So I assume that either the lead has fell off the sensor or the sensor has had it, but where abouts is it?
Cheers Rich

Hi Rich,
The sensor itself is bolted to the bottom of the lower sump pan, which needs to be removed to gain access to the sensor.
Also check the plug and wiring, which is accessible on the drivers side of the engine, above the sump. No removal required.
Cheers

in the main ally part of the sump.
Edit
Doh! Iwas thinking of the plug!

A long uphill/downhill stretch of motorway or fast A road can flash the "low oil" message, check oil level 5 mins after the engine has stopped.
