Try
http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-965-fuchs-titan-atf-4000-multifunctional-automatic-transmission-fluid.aspx
The Fuchs oil is VERY good.....beats the hell out of the cheaper stuff from the likes of halfords.

It might not be a TC item .. but some stealers give trade discount on non-TC items when a TC is presented .. :)
I usually get about 10% off on average

Thought I was seeing double!!!! Posted my reply to this on ABS!

Thanks VXL V6, yes I have asked the same question on a number of Omega related sites, I think it all helps to get the best information out of all the members, hope you agree. ;)

My local Vx main dealer gives me trade discount of 15% on non TC items. I assumed this was standard. Am I just lucky, or is it because I puckered my lips. ;D

ATF is one of the few items that are NOT a good deal from Vx (TC or otherwise). Go for Fuchs as per Mark DTM advise, or look for some good deal from Halfords.
Keep in mind that with both transmission sumps removed only around 4.5L of the total capacity of 9L ATF is replaced. The other half resides in the Torque Converter and in the transition fluid cooler (a small radiator to the left of the main radiator when viewed from the front).

This is from AMSOIL's website (this is not Omega-specific):
'....You now have replaced the fluid in the pan. To replace the fluid in the torque converter and oil cooler also, follow these steps.
Step 1. Obtain the total system capacity of the vehicle
manufacturer or AMSOIL. Have this amount
readily available.
Step 2. Disconnect the oil cooler line from the oil cooler. As
you may not know which is the pressure side and
which is the return side, have both directed so the
stream of fluid will be directed toward a receptacle.
Step 3. With another person, be prepared to add ATF to the
fill area as it is being pumped out of the oil cooler
line.
Step 4. Start the engine, and as the old fluid is pumped out,
add fresh fluid to the pan.
Step 5. When either the fluid colour brightens or the total
capacity has been replaced, shut the engine off and
re-attach the oil cooler line. All fluids have now
been changed.'
Having said that, I am not aware of anyone on this forum that have actually tried this?

Bought Dexron 3 made by Texaco from German fleeBay for £3 a litre.. Maybe worth a try..
-
Dex III from the stealers is a yellowy/green colour.... I'm assured that this will mix with the red stuff... too expensive anyway....

£20 for 5l of Coma from Halfords.
I make no comments on quality compared to other makes though...

Coma AQ3 meets Dexron III spec and that's what is in mine at the moment... well 6.5 litres of it anyway as you can never fully change the fluid.
Next time it's changed i'll take a look at the Fuchs stuff but at the time I had to get some urgently!
