Reset? No... there is a fuel pressure relief button that you press to discharge the pressure from the fuel system prior to removing the fuel pipes from the injector rack... it is at the rear of the plenum under the scuttle, but you need to first take the plenum off to get to it.

Bugger, too far from me :(

What exactly are you trying to achieve...? You can partially reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery (within 15 seconds after switching off ignition, if the car has factory-fitted alarm), though stored error codes (e.g. Airbag light) will not be reset this way....

Not on the V6's motronic ;)

Oooookey.... I thought that disconnecting the battery rests the driving patterns memory...? Or is it all non-volatile memory these days? :-/

NOTE :
Johnislost has several concurrent threads running - he has run out of fuel, refilled, and now the car won't run
John ... don't keep starting new threads .. it gets confusing .. stick to one and ask the next question in it !!
Ta .. :)

Hi
I think what you are refering to is the old inertia switch on the fuel injection system, basically if the car had an accident the switch would pop up and turn the 12volt supply to the pump off, if afterwards it is safe to do so you could just push it down again and the fuel pump works again. Could also be tripped bumping up a kerb, even loading something to roughly in to the car.
Basically the Omega does not have one.
The worst offender was the Range Rover as the switch was under the passenger seat and could easily be kicked.
