When fitting cruise control to a 3.0lt v6 auto, is the 4pin brake pedal switch fitted in place of the original brake pedal switch for the brake lights or aswell as the original switch. On mine there is a spare position for a switch(square hole)

the existing 2 pin one is replaced with a 4 pin one

Just fitted cruise control on my v6 estate  :y All straight forward and worked first time  ;D

Did the cam cover gaskets on Sunday, no oil in plug holes now and no drips on the drive either  ;)

Got the exhaust to change and the check strap to repair at the weekend along with climate control surround

Sadly no, funds wouldn't run to Vauxhall stealer prices  >:(  so i got one from here

       www.onlineautomotive.co.uk

£163 inc Vat ( includes 7 new rubbers and 2 clamps )  8-)

We'll see what it's like when it's fitted, but it looks reasonably good quality and i don't forsee any problems with it  :y

I hope its good, but at that sort of price, it will be noisy (not even a nice noise), and won't last :(

Genuine not much more on TC...
