As in Omega 'B'???
-
B is the Omega as you know it
A is the Carlton (was called (Opel) Omega too in other countries)
-
This explains it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Omega
There was an Opel Omega which Vx called Carlton. Omega A.
All Vx Omegas are the same as the Opel Omega B. So if you have a Vx Omega you have an Omega B.
There is no such thing as an Omega C.

Yep, all you need to know is that yours is an 'Omega B'....
Some body and trim items have changed around 1997/1998 (aka 'minifacelift', and then again in 2000 (aka facelift), but they all still regarded as 'Omega B'.

Some of the traders i have seen refer to the Facelifted cars, 99 on, as Omega C

Be a pity if there is no 'real' successor to the Omega....VXR8 looks good though.... :y
They could use that platform to develop a new Omega.....

GM are a business, and they obviously feel they are unable to make a reasonable roi on another Omega....

With the current vectra being huge in comparison to the old cavaliers, and the signum as an estate variant, there isnt any room in the market to make space for a new omega. not in this economic depression.

All they have to say is the Merc dealer is around the corner and the BMW dealer is just down the road, yes you will pay more but they are the nearest to what you want.
