Ive just noticed that my temp gauge on the dash is not reading at all. Iknow it was working but its not now.
Do you think this could be faulty clocks or more likely to be a faulty sensor on the engine (anyone got any ideas where it is situated on a 2.0)????

No ... sorry. But when you find the wire that goes/went to it, if you ground/earth it the gauge will go to fully hot if the gauge is OK.

If its the same as 2.2 its right at the back of the engine, passenger side iic...
You can't see it normally, get a mirror and push it towards the back against the silver heat sheild of the bulk head, it should be down there in the middle someware.
Its the same as V6, its brass circle type thing, and there is a metal connector which just slides on top.

Since when as anyhing other than the petrol filler cap been easy to get to on an omega ;D

Try giving the clocks a good push inbetween the speedo and rev counter to make sure the push fit multi plug is connected properly behind the dash ;)

Was thinking of taking the clocks out next weekend as a couple of the bulbs are out and have the spares. I will give that a try in the morning though. Cheers

Slightly towards the top in the center....

You can reach the temp sensor from underneath if you have long-ish arms. The connectors have a habit of corroding and losing contact or falling off.
Check the dash first though....its easier and cleaner.
