Title: Omege 2.0 16V cambelt set - where to buy?
Post by: mkaminski100 on 18 January 2008, 09:38:25
I bounght my Omega 2.0 16V ca 4 month ago and was told that the cambelt will be changed for free. Then I got an invoice and there was only "Timing belt". There is no way to find out if it was changed. Even if, I am quite sure that only a cambelt was changed, no tensioner or waterpump.
Thats why I want to be on the safe side and I want to change cambelt, tensioners and waterpump.
I have asked in few shops, but all the have is Gates belts and NoName pumps. I have bad experience with these and Gates (even X series) tend to snap just after replacement.
I know that genuine GM is good, SKF and Graf (pumps), Conto-Tech, Bosh (belts) and INA (tensioners - they are the GM manufacturer)
Do you know any place where I can buy these ones in reasonable price in UK? I can get the whole set (genuine GM cambelt set + SKF pump) from Poland for ca £90 (with delivery) but i prefer to buy it in here for similar price.
