Seeing as your 'Seach Function' doesn't want to be my friend, and is starting to hurt my feelings, I thought i'd just post. Sorry my appology's if it's been asked/answered before.
My thrust bearing is noisy and I need a new one. The clutch feels all fine and dandy, and can still take a bootfull of abuse, so can I just buy a new bearing?
What sort of price do they go for and how much lighter am I going to be after said purchase? Any pro's/con's as to what to get and from where?
I'm not affraid of tackling the job, as being RWD, how hard can it be?? Naive - Perhaps. Any little gremlins that could upset me?
Many questions I know - But bear with me. :D

Apologies about search - I need to modify some defaults to make it work better :-[

I think it was 'JamesV6CDX' that put a load of info and pics
up when he did a complete clutch change on one of his steeds.
I can't recall it ever making it into the Maintenance section, for
some reason, so no idea how to find the thread. :(

Superb - Thanks very much.
I think it's time for me to get it up on the ramps.
The way I see it, swing the prop down, 'box side. Undo the gearbox and other gubbins, then pull it back far enough to slide a little Chinese boy in there and fetch the release bearing.
