Hi Guys
Looks like the PAS Pump is on the way out as there is a nice oil slick on the garage floor on the n/s of the car, and its red.
Checked TIS yesterday and according to that it seems you need to remove the A/C compressor, which means getting the A/C man in to empty the sysetm.
Has anyone do a PAS Pump on a V6 with A/C and do you need to remove/disconnect the A/c Pump.
I have a spare PAS Pump on the scrapper so its going to be a double job
Cheers
Andy

I have recently gone through this with our 2.5, you do not need to remove the compressor. Where they got that idea from I do not know.
Changing the hydraulic pump is actually quite straightforward, very messy though.
Cover the ABS controller and the A/C compressor to avoid filling them with fluid.
Unless of course there is some variant that has a different layout.
