No....
Fronts....9192124 £22.65+vat
Rears....9192126 £18.75+vat
These are retail prices according to the 'red' book.......dealers are getting new 'yellow' book so prices may have increased by a £1 or so.
You can knock off £8-£10 per set if you have access to a TC card :y

and fronts will need 1 (01 on) or 2 (up to 00) wear sensors
-
Is the wear sensor fitted to just one of the front pads?
-
Yes nearside on mine :y
-
What thickness of friction material is there left when the brake pad sensor is activated?
-
On my Mini facelift 3.0, brake pad sensors are on one pad on both sides, and only at the front..

Depends on how worn the discs are. As the unworn lip at the edge gets biggers, the wear indictor will go open circuit sooner. In a perfect world I'd reckon on about a third/quarter of the pad left.

if I'm not wrong approx 2mm :-/
-
2 sensors up to 2000, 1 sensor from 2001.

T/C PADS NOT THE SAME QUALITY AS OE AND GIVE A MUCH HIGHER LEVEL OF PEDAL EFFORT.
BEST PADS ARE EITHER ATE OR PAGID(VERY SHARP INITIAL BITE) FROM EURO CAR PARTS AT THE SAME OR LESS THAN TC.

I've heard this myth before, but it is not my experience on the Omega.

Never had a problem with Trade Club pads in either my previous cars, my Omega, my Astra, my wife's Astra or my lads Astra.

Sorry to disagree, the trade club pads / discs I purchased had the VX part number on them, no difference to non-TC parts at all.

I guess I would agree - surely Trade Club means a financial arrangement, not cheap and nasty quality. ie not the same as 'trade' paint, which IS different.
