Post by: Omega Pixie on 05 February 2008, 15:35:46
When i put the plenum back on the car i knocked the temp sender lead off . (s***) :-[ What i want  to know is that does this mean the ecu doesnt know what temp the engine is running at?

It depends which sender. The one with a single wire going to it is for the dashboard gauge, and the one with a 2 pin conenctor and 2 wires going to it will be for the engine ECU.

Its the single lead going to the gauge as the gauge doesnt work.

In that case, it should only upset the gauge.
