Title: Blowers

Anyone know why my blowers will only direct air to the windscreen?  It has been like this since I bought the car, although they did all briefly work for a month or so when I installed a walnut centre console and had a fiddle at the pipes behind it.  Been back behind the console and can't see anything loose or disconnected.  Should I be looking somewhere esle for the problem?

 check the vac pipe that comes from the brake servo pipe to the heater controls has not becone disconnected. [thin black pipe] this happened on my car and the blower goes to default positon onto the screen as a safety measure. :y  or check that the pipe has not broken off the t piece on the servo pipe.

That would make a lot of sense as I remember having a lot of trouble getting the brake servo pipe connected as it was at the wrong angle when putting a donor engine into the car.
