Title: Heater Bypass valve
Post by: Roy on 08 February 2008, 10:55:43
Can anyone help, please. I am fitting a new HBV but when I put the pipes on, the single entry pipe appears to be kinked. does anybody know which pipe goes where on the two outlets from the valve. I have the one to the heaterpipe on the bulkhead on the top one.  :'(

from memory

single side to coolant bridge
top to balkhead
bottom to coolant rail

Hopefully someone can confirm before fitting it.

Many thanks, got it back together now and the leak seems to have stopped.
They don`t seem to do or know about the facelift 2.2 here in France (The Opel dealer in Saumur didn`t any way)
Thanks again for the Info

Roy :)
