Hi all...My 2.0 estate is finally beating me. It seems very sluggish when under load. Also when cold or left for a few days it does not want to start. By just turning over the engine without any throttle it eventually starts after about two minutes with the management light on. I have to warm it up and hope not to stall it before tempting to switch it off and start again. It then runs normally, but still very sluggish. I know it's only a 2 litre ,but I'm sure that the saloon version I used to own was far more responsive. I've replaced the airflow meter, cam & crank sensors and stiil the same. Any idea's?...please.... before I put a pinto engine in it....

possibilities:
clogged fuel filter,
bad fuel pressure regulator,
throttle position sensor..
by the way the cam and crank sensors were from vx ?
