Hi all, just opened all the box's of bits i've bought my Mig's cambelt party on the 23rd and noticed the cambelt kit only has one adjustable roller. The other (fixed to the tensioner itself) is adjustable. I've watched the DVD and it shows two adjuster,1 for the left (1 and 2) and 1 for the right set of valves (3 and 4). I know the engine in the dvd was either a 2.5 or a 3.0 so there are slight differences. have i got the right kit?. Its a genuine VX part (belt has no markings on it) all the part numbers match.

I will leave it for the experts to comment but i think thats right, as i know the 3.2 only has one adjustable roller, i think the 2.6 does as well :-/

Yes. Later engines had the lower roller fixed and the one between the banks still adjustable so that sounds plausible for a 2.6.

Thought so. read a thread on here a while back about it but could'nt remember what engine's it was talking about. it will be interesting to watch how the timing is set on saturday.

... With much cursing and swearing if it's a genuine VX kit because they've stopped putting markings on their belts. ;D
