I was quoted £140 to have the heater seat pad replaced in my drivers recaro leather seat.Short term have bought a fleece tartan blanket from Wilkinsons for £4=25 so as not to freeze my b......s off and am deciding if £140 is an option or not.
It seems that they are fairly fragile and prone to failure especially in the leather seats..almost worth buying a replacment set of fabric with heater elements working,as come the summer leather then gets a bit HOT.

But it's easy to put a heating mat in as a replacement. Just leave the original in place.  :y

You might be lucky and the fault will be obvious when you remove the leather cover. It could also be the thermostat which live in the seat.
At least you won't need them when the weather gets warmer. ;D  ;D
