Title: paint peel and corrosion, roof bars and sunroof

Hi All
I've got some of the black peeling off the sunroof surround, plus the leading edges of the roof bars are bubbling with corrosion under the black 'paint'.
Has anybody had experince of dealing with this, if so, what did you use to clear the corrosion and touch up the black paint?

Corrosian is very difficult to deal with, you need to take it back to the bare metal, and even then, it will probably start up again given time.
