my barake lights work great, the breaks work great, just replaced the brake light switch with a new intermotor one, the washer fluid level is full, then why do i keep bing warned that they need attention, i have aknowleged the warning as the hand book says but when i restart the engine its still there again, is ther a master reset or is it just something i have to live with, :(

Sounds like faulty sensors im afraid.

what is the actual brake warning - there are 2.
washer fluid will be duff switch, easily changed, though bumper off job.
-
Is it brake light or brake fluid warning?
If its the light - note there are two bulbs on each side on the saloon The warning system has been known to be quite sensitive to having the right impedence bulbs fitted. If all else fails, try some new bulbs from Vx.

only 1 per side for brakes ;)
brake warnings (other than check brakelight (on 98 or later)) are
brake light (faulty bulb/connection)
brake pads (worn through wear sensor, needs new front pads and sensors)
