				I assumed that my 2001 2.6 Elite had 24 valves, but when I was speaking to the local Vauxhall dealer today he stated that is was 12 valves. Is he correct?

				i have 20 bent valves he can see, thats why i had to buy a full set 24,

				Some of the early 2 ltr Migs were 8 valve however as Mark says he's a daft tw*t
p.s would you trust the VX man to change a cambelt when he doesn't even know how many camshafts the engine has? :-?

				parts guy at our local stealers didnt know what a plenum was he had the sense to ask an egineer who explaned what it was.(an air box)

I assume the engineer was a customer because, you want find anything more than a technician or mechanic in a garage.  :y

Something you have in the back of your wireless, isn't it? :-/
Mechanics don't do any real mechanics work any more, otherwise they'd have taken so many engines to bits, they'd know them inside out. Today it's a matter of replacing what the computer says is wrong, scratch your @rse when it doesn't cure the problem, then clean the car so the customer is happy.

Mechanics don't do any real mechanics work any more, otherwise they'd have taken so many engines to bits, they'd know them inside out. Today it's a matter of replacing what the computer says is wrong, scratch your @rse when it doesn't cure the problem, then clean the car so the customer is happy.
