Title: Airlocked heater matrix.

Is there a knack as to flushing air out of the system, because ive tried on 2 occasions now with little joy, even asked at my local garage they had no luck either, but they did say it was definately airlocked. :-[

Start with cold engine. Fill header tank, leave cap off, and have heaters on hi.

Run engine with cap off up to temp

Occasionally burp all hoses - it should clear it.

If not - flush out the matrix in both directions with a hose pipe.

What are your symptoms?

Basically the main symptom is cool air with heater on, it just about takes the chill off if your lucky,
