Rest of the car locked too? :-/

Use your spare!
You have got a spare?
If not you can order one from Vauxhall with the key number off your car pass...
-
Hi
If you are a member of the AA or RAC you could try and give them a call. I don't no if they still do it but they used to do what was called an "effect entry" when people locked there keys in the car.
It is effectivly how criminals break into your car, and no the brick should not be neccesary.

Thats a funny looking brick, not like the ones we find down here on our driver seats, must be the funny rocks you have up North.

No, not really.
Is the Car Dead Locked?, do you have a spare working remote? (thinking along the lines of 12V on the Starter Motor)
Did the remote dead lock it or did you have use the Key?
If its not dead locked, I think as a last resort I would drill the rear boot barrel (but thats me). A lot cheaper than paying a Locksmith.

I was looking for a picture proper Accrington stock brick .... but that was the best I could find! ;) :y
I think most scrotes have upgraded to :- :-?

the AA pocked some wire through the door and levered out the lock (no pull type lock, it was part of the door release)

I wondered that myself but then again most things are possible if you try. ;) ;) :y
-
I've scratched my head raw trying to work out how on earth you can lock your keys in the damn boot./...
??????????
surely you need the remote or the key to lock it in the first place.... ???
-
dunno bout pre-facelifts but my facelift has entry to the boot through the back seat, so...... i would smash back windo and crawl through the folded down seats and either get my keys or pull the release from inside the boot
-
Not sure about the saloons, but if my Estate is dead locked I can get in the Back using the key (without popping the door locks) it makes a small motor noise (which I NOW know, does'nt work if the Battery flat).
If I then take the key out, with the door still open, accidently leave the keys in the back, shut the door, he presto I'm locked out with the Key and remote inside.
The other reason could be that one of those aftermarket Thatcham cat II Alarm has been installed and has decided to lock the doors after a few minutes because the engine hasn't been started.
-
i locked the doors (central locking) with the boot open then i put the jack back in the boot and forgot to pick the keys up before i shut it

Ahhh.

Vauxhall (or Andy C), may be able to sort you out from chasis / reg number, not too sure on the ethics of that though :-/

hang on, how can you lock keys in boot on prefacelift?
Doesn't it depend on whether you've left the lock in vertical or horizontal :-/

Leaves it either permanently locked for driving through Liverpool (The suggestion of a Scouser - Honest!) big towns & cities or with c/l

carefully if you have a door chock gently stick it in the top of the sdoor to effect a gap large enough to poke a wire coat hanger in with the end bent to hook the door pin DON'T force the door top to much you will sprain it if your good at fishing you'll be in in around 5 mins
alternativly go down chad sandiacre stabbo or spondon and find a girl racer theyll do it for you
hope that helps

Sounds like best bet to me . :y
Used to do it all the time on old Ford capri , would take the kids on 'Scottie Road' about 3 mins to get in and 2 mins to get it started >:( Do'nt you just love that scouse sense of humor :D :D
But dont force the door top too much or you could 'Pop' the whole window , Large flat blade screwdriver and a couple of wooden wedges should do it :y
