Has anyone had a problem with vibaration from the propshaft. I get a bit when I get to 70 mph and I'm sure it would continue up to about 85 if I were to ever drive that fast. ;)Wondered whether the rubbers have gone soft or something. They look ok but I can't think what else to try having balanced and changed the wheels. ( now have facelift mv6 aloys instead of the play doh old ones). Shocks are all ok too. Any thoughts anyone?

Get hold of the (prop) shaft and give it a shake.....listen for a clunk as it could be the centre bearing.
Either way, you should be able to see any excess movement.
Also, check all the donut bolts are fitted at the gearbox and prop end....

Yep....front and back....
They dont break anywhere near as often as the Carlton and Senator ones did though!

Fair enough, worth a good look though.

If its the centre bearing, does that mean I need a whole new shaft or just the bearing? Is it much of a job?
