Hi,
Going to pick up the Omega today and will be giving it a service as soon as I get it home, does anyone know the oil capacity for the engine?
Cheers,
Iain

Hi fella,
Make sure you've got plenty to hand - it swallows approx. 6.5 litres!

6.5 litres although TB's required 13!

Hello again Iain, (from a blustery South Wales!),
Yep, I've just checked the official Vauxhall figures .....
Engine oil with filter-change is indeed 6.5 litres, (11.4 pints).
They recommend SAE 10W-40 - I use semi-synthetic in mine.
DO AN OIL & FILTER-CHANGE EVERY 4500 MILES MAX. - best to forget Vauxhall's recommendations on this.
Also, the cooling system capacity is a whopping 17.9 pints. (manual), and 17.6 pints with auto. transmission.
Cheers.

I picked up 6 litres for mine and still needed to buy another 1 litre to bring it up to level. I still have 1/2 litre left. So that figure of 6.5lt is spot on.
