Title: An F appeared on the MID
Post by: Darth Loo-knee on 02 March 2008, 01:50:11
for a few seconds today twice..... I always have the Range showing, when the letter "F" came up on the MID. I haven't seen this come up before on my car?
Any ideas if something is breaking down?
No EML Light on saying there is a fault :-?

As Mr DTM says.  I've seen it under other circumstances though - incorrect MID programming, and a duff fuel level sender...

As TB say's apart from an incorrect programed MID, but ins't there a sensor that confirms weither the box is Auto or Manual?, that would throw an F on the Range display.

I think that would show 'Gearbox Fault'
