Decided to fit reversing sensors to my 1999 saloon Omega, could someone measure the positions of the OEM fitted sensors on their Omega to give me an idea where to fit mine.... also are yours angled with the the curve of the bumper or do they have wedge spacers so that the sensors stay perfectly level with the rear of the vehicle...
Thanks in advance...

You should get all the measurements you need in the fitting instructions if you buy a new set,I have a set I am thinking of putting on my omega and they have all measurements in the box.

Fitted these as an extra on my miggy, i fitted the corner ones approximately 4 inches from the corners then spaced the others equally, they work perfect.......regarding the curvature of the bumper, the ones i purchased were shaped for the curve of the bumper, on the rear of the sensor there was a small arrow showing the top...check yours.

Just got mine in the post 8-)
Can't see any reference arrows :-/, there are some wedge spacers, they make the sensor face rearwards on a curved bumper.. What make are yours? Got mine from a store on fleabay, mine are Cisbo SB301-4 in Maroon to match my car, audible only... just what I wanted and only £22 too.... will report back once fitted if they're of any use....
Cheers DC :)

here is the picture .
from experience the one on the corner must be
2-3 cms inner as it sees objects around and disturbs me a bit..

Mine are made by Fiamm, the instructions say to place the first two approx 12 cm in from the outside of the vehicle and between 45and 65 cm from the ground. After fitting the first two measure the distance between the them and divide that measurement by 3 that gives you the gap between.

Will have to measure mine......they were fitted as per the facelift factory fitted ones.

Thanx for all replies. Please measure your Mark. Thanx. Achoo81, does your have a display on the dash? Just wodering why it's so precise that it needs to calculate for a visual read out... Mine are just a 4 sensor system, there isn't an arrow for top setting, but, it does stipulate that they must be fitted with the coss hair profile on the rear being vertical or horizontal... must be an omni directional wave pattern... will report back when fitted...

Hi Dave,
Yes mine do have a screen that can be fitted to the dash IF you want or will work without, they radiate in an ever increasing circle up to about 3 feet range the reason they say not to put them any wider is because they will sound off when you get near to something that is not directly behind your car.

CEM's look a little wide to me and as he says his seem to see around corners! On the maintenance guide the piccy shows them closer together...
