Title: DIS Pack p/n please

Can anyone help me with the above item for my 96 P reg omega 2.5V6 Saloon...?

Well......

It says in 'the book' ......

2.5/3.0 early models........90444184
Intermim models.......90511450
later models......90541062

So........take yer choice.......dont think it will be later models.......

hmmmm dont suppose it had any dates or engine numbers to differentiate?   :-/ :-/

The only way to find the correct part is to take a look at the dis pack, if its standing upright its the early one if its lying down it's one of the others, then you need to look at the shape of the plug.

I suspect you have the early vertical one, but do check first.

The 96 N reg I had 2yrs ago for a few weeks had a vertical 'early' type.

The HT plug points and the connector all point upwards on mine, so is this vertical or horizontal......???

That is horizontal all you have to do now is look at the plug and make sure the dis pack you get is the same,also mark the plug leads before you take them out and make a drawing of were they are fitted in the old dis pack.

Early one changed to intermediate one somewhere in 96...so you could have either...but the earlier one is distinctive as it has the connector on the top of the pack when in place...the later dispacks have the connector on the side...

The DIS is already numbered up with the plug numbers.  ;)

I have ordered one of the horizontal types.

Lets see how many years it take forces mail to get it to me.....
